Which glitter should I choose?+
For face and body, start with our loose Cosmetic Eco Glitter or a Glitter Kit that bundles glitter with aloe gel and an applicator. Want festival hair? Reach for Hair Glitter. Decorating drinks or cakes? Choose food-safe Edible Glitter. Prefer a ready-to-sweep shimmer? Try the Makeup Palette.
Is your glitter safe for skin and face?+
Yes. Our cosmetic glitter is plant-based (plant cellulose), vegan and cruelty-free, and made without the microplastics in conventional glitter. Secure it on skin with our organic aloe vera gel and keep loose glitter away from the eyes.
How do I apply loose cosmetic glitter?+
Dab a little aloe vera gel onto the skin as a natural adhesive, then press the glitter on with a makeup brush or fingertip. Once the gel dries the glitter stays put, and it rinses off with water and mild soap.
What's the difference between cosmetic and edible glitter?+
Cosmetic Eco Glitter is made for skin, body and hair and should not be eaten. Edible Glitter (our EAT ME range) is 100% food-grade, tasteless and odourless, and made to sparkle in drinks, cakes and desserts.
Is the glitter really plastic-free and biodegradable?+
Our cosmetic glitter is plant-based and plastic-free, made from certified Bioglitter™ that is up to 90% biodegradable in natural conditions — unlike conventional plastic glitter, which can persist for hundreds of years.
