Festival glitter without the microplastic.

Loose plastic glitter is a microplastic — and it's being banned at festivals across the UK and EU. Our plant-based, plastic-free glitter gives you the same all-night glow, minus the pollution. Vegan, cruelty-free and skin-safe.

How to apply

Festival glitter in three easy steps

A quick, skin-safe way to add sparkle for the day — press it on with a little aloe gel and it holds through dancing and sunshine, then rinses off that night. Watch how it's done:

  1. 1

    Start with clean, dry skin

Pick where you want to sparkle — cheekbones, brow bones, collarbones. Make sure the skin is clean and dry first.

  2. 2

Dab on a little aloe vera gel

Apply a thin layer of organic aloe vera gel as a natural, skin-safe adhesive wherever you want the glitter to stick.

  3. 3

    Press on the glitter

Pick up glitter with a makeup brush or fingertip and gently press it onto the gel. Build it up in layers for a bolder festival look.

Festival glitter questions, answered

Is biodegradable glitter allowed at festivals?+

In most cases, yes — many festivals now ban loose plastic glitter because it's a microplastic, and plant-based cellulose glitter is the plastic-free choice that's compliant with the EU microplastics restriction (EU 2023/2055). Always check your specific festival's policy first, though: a few events (such as Glastonbury) now discourage all body glitter, so read their guidance before you pack.

What makes glitter “festival-safe”?+

Festival-safe glitter is cosmetic-grade and made for skin, plant-based rather than plastic, vegan and cruelty-free, and free of the microplastics found in conventional glitter. Our Cosmetic Eco Glitter ticks all of those boxes.

How do I apply festival glitter so it lasts all day?+

Dab a little organic aloe vera gel onto your skin as a natural adhesive, then press the glitter on with a makeup brush or fingertip. Once the gel dries the glitter stays put through dancing and sunshine — build it up in layers for a bolder look.

How do I remove it after the festival?+

It rinses off with warm water and mild soap — no scrubbing or special remover needed. Keep loose glitter away from your eyes when applying.

Which glitter is best for a festival look?+

For face and body, a Mini Glam Kit bundles glitter with aloe gel and an applicator — everything you need in a pocket-sized box. Want sparkle in your hair too? Reach for our plant-based Hair Glitter for braids, partings and updos.
